However, raid 6 is used by people who want high security and required high storage. You can use raid 6 instead of raid 5 but you cannot do this and vice versa. Make sure you choose the right raid because raid 6 can save your data on two drive failures but raids 5 can’t.
If your drive capacity utilization is higher than the storage is higher in your drives. Therefore, it’s important to know the capacity of the drive utilisation before creating raids whether it’s raid 5 or raid 6.
